We make every effort to be environmentally friendly, operating our family business with green standards in hopes of a better environment for future generations. These standards include recycling, composting waste, cleaning with natural agents, & using paper products & supplies from 100% recycled materials. Our vision ranges from Papa Tino growing all our fruits & veggies during the Jersey growing season to using to go plasticware that is made from non-GMO vegetable starch.
Through the humble upbringing of his Italian immigrant parents from Molise, Italy, owner/operator Tino Procaccini always had a taste for the kitchen. Every summer Tino would visit the homeland and that is when he became increasingly passionate about his Italian roots and the unique foods they so proudly prepared.
Ambitious and determined, in 1999, Tino opened his first restaurant while at the same time pursuing a business degree at Rider University. With his prior experience working at Whole Foods Market, he realized that as life became increasingly fast-paced and the trend toward eating healthier, it was time to move away from the full-seat restaurant and bar that he originally opened. This is when Tino’s Artisan Pizza Co. was born.
With only 500 square feet, our first and smallest unit began in the historical town of Kingston, N.J. Quickly gaining recognition from many local publications and eventually even the New York Times. Tino was able to create a quick service concept with a full-service dining experience and exceptional pizzas, salads, sandwiches, and more.
Today we have six locations in and around New Jersey, with hopes of expanding even further.
